eScreen express
Problem:
Alere needed a new customer portal to enable quick-turn drug screen transactions for small employers without being burdened with a lengthy contract process.
This new portal needed to follow Alere brand guidelines, as Alere had recently acquired eScreen. Furthermore, this service was targeted at non-customers with little to no awareness of eScreen solutions. We required more than a simple login page—we needed to market the new service as well.

Solution:
We updated the UI that had already been in development to embody the Alere brand. We then fine-tuned the homepage messaging to highlight the features and benefits of the self-service eCommerce.
Ushering in a new era in eCommerce and interactive design for eScreen, we launched a successful online ordering site with highly effective keywords and content.
Execution:
This project was primarily focused on a single, scrolling page. As such, I stuck with Photoshop for the layout, Illustrator for all the vector work, and Dreamweaver for the HTML and CSS. Review and approvals were conducted with Acrobat PDFs, and once finalized, the tidied-up HTML and CSS files were released for the development team to plug and play for launch.
